Single positive head pumps are
installed between the shower mixer valve and he shower rose, and operate by boosting the blended water from the valve to the shower.
Because they are flow switch operated they can only be used in positive head positions, where a minimum of 0.5 litres of water per minute can be supplied from natural gravity flow from the highest outlet.
