Twin positive head pumps are installed between the shower mixer valve and the shower rose, and operate by boosting the blended water from the vavle to the shower. Becasue they are flow switch operated they can only be used in positive head positions, where a minimum of 0.5 litres of water per minute can be supplied from natural gravity flow from the highest outlet. All twin pumps have the power to supply not just individual showers, but to pressurise the supply to the whole bathroom, or the entire house.
