Single negative head pumps are ideal where a single supply of either hot or cold water is required to a location above the level of caol water storage tanks. The pump is fully automatic and will supply water as soon as shower/tap is opened. They are ideal for supplying instantaneous electric showers where mains water pressure is either inadequate or not available. In this case the pump should be connected to the cold water storage system supplying pressurised water to the shower unit.
